Default new guy with no 4wd yet. lol

Hey guys

im tom from wollongong way. i own a 2007 nissan 350z track.

looking to sell it as i really want a 4wd.

looking at getting an 08 JK wrangler 4 door 2.8 CRD diesel with auto gear box

great place to read up on these cars.

i posted this but i dunno if it was in the right spot before

Welcome to the forum, losing 100Kw is worth the shift to the Wrangler as it's lower emissions/MPG will help compensate the hip pocket whilst the higher ride position of the driver is a nice bonus too!

Curious did you settle on the automatic transmission because it'll be a daily driver in a metropolitan area?

yeah will be a big power drop. but you cant compare a sports car to a 4wd.

ive settled the Auto cause my GF preferes it and dad has an 09 prado auto and it drives well. plus i read that auto is great in the bush as well. i got more reading to do. i dont drive to work. just to the gym. so its mainly just a toy car for the weekend bush/camping trips.

but so far the jeep seems like the best option. especially round the 30k mark.

and plus it just looks tuff
