Default Opinions on used RE 3.5s

I can get a set of RE 3.5" for $250 SH, compared to $400 new. What are peoples thoughts on used RE 3.5 coils, do they tend to sag?

Regards A

Had mine for few years. Never noticeably sagged. But... one snapped, for no discernible reason

Yes. Analysing the snap, a weak seam runs through the metal grain where snapped. Maybe manufac flaw. RE offers lifetime guarantee but... if not in USA, proving difficult, esp since bought by TransAmerican.

That said, really like the spring performance.
