Regarding the original post.
Yes, there is the possibility it could be related to NSS, however it's a good idea to see if you ran any codes. Even though the TPS has been replaced, it still might be related to it.
Other cases have involved the TPS grounding when at temperature, so see if any codes come up. If not, u might have fixed it, and just wait if it happens again. If it does, get back to us.
Shifting issue returned after 12 months. Identical issue, but became permanent (not just when hot) pretty quickly. I checked the NSS again, and it was fine. So I decided I would just replace the two shift solenoids inside the transmission. I bought them at Driveline in Girraween. They are 'Rosta' brand, made in USA. Problem solved.
It did shift manually, but when you have it in 1-2 position it would be in 1, and then as soon as you move it to 3 it would shift to 3 so it would skip 2 and not automatically shift between 1 and 2 when in position 1-2.
