Replaced the fuel line section from the filter to the pump. The previous had deteriorated. Gave the turbo inlet a wipe out, I see a bit of wear on the compressor blades. Overall, everything seems okay.Click image for larger version

His images are loading now, if that helps;

The petrol models have the fuel vapour canister there. The diesels might still have the mount points for the canister but I wouldn't trust them to hold a battery. Looks like Tango welded a chunky bracket to the sub-frame(?).

The battery box is just a trail gear optima battery box mounted to the frame rail.
Could have also mounted a marine battery box there... but I didn't want a box that might fill up with water.

Redliner came up with the fuel tank repair similar to the aircraft fuel tank repair.

That looks like an epic place for a second battery. Damn vapour canister, I had high hopes for a minute! Still trying to figure out where to best put a second battery in mine without putting it in the cabin.

Gave my jeep a few presents over the past few weeks. Rocksliders, New Suspension and some arms, Uneek Front Bar, Winch on the way, Snorkel, Commander Rims and new MT51's

Looks like i'll need to sell a few more kidneys at this rate!

Haha yeah it's a nice spot ay. I looked for somewhere to relocate the vapour canister to when I installed the AUX tank. But couldn't find anywhere suitable.
It's possible to fit two smallish batteries (like Optima D34s) in the engine bay by shifting the fuse box aka "power module" things a bit.

I'm not keen on the extra weight though, so planning a long/thin lifepo4 battery (4 flat cells arranged in a string.) up behind the towbar crossbar. It's gunna be a tight fit so will see if it works once I have the cells to play with.

Spent the day fitting my roof basket and running wiring for an aux battery. Also wired in 2 12v aux plugs and an anderson plug into the rear cargo area (just by the rear quarterwindow glass) for my inverter / input from solar panels.

I'm thinking of a 35AH aux battery like a NPC35-12 that i'll try and shoehorn between the firewall and strut brace on the passenger side. Only weighs about 12kg and although not of huge capacity should be plenty big enough to run the engel overnight

What kind of capacity are you anticipating with lifepo4's James?
