This thread is useless without pics

Have been 3 weeks since I got off the smokes. Just woke one morning and had an eppifany, and decided to stop smoking after 15 on the buggers. Had a couple of twinges but so far so good. Just have convinced myself that I no longer smoke.

Was thinking of the cleansing diet soon too, just for full detox.

mmmm, chicken. I wonder if KFC counts

Hey Moses, and evetone else here, GREAT JOB!........keep it going. Moses, If you don't mind me asking, what was your starting weight, and what do you weigh now?

I'm a Physical Trainer, so this stuff interests me. I've facilitated a few of those 'BIGGEST WINNER' (aka TV show - Biggest Loser) Competitions. It is soooooo heartening to see people that are struggling with their weight shed those kilos.

I've trained a lot of high performance athletes in my time, but I get the biggest thrill from seeing overweight people achieve their goal.

Well done eveyone here that are shedding those unwanted kilos, but remembner that 'diet' is a dirty word. HEY!, did you see that OPRAH on TV had DR OZ who was letting everyone know about the 'secret' to weight loss? Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,...hoo boy!

Weight loss is sooo simple. It's a matter of energy. Simply expend more energy than you consume. We all know that! So there's no big secret.

Good luck to all that are training and watching what they eat. I hope that you achieve your goals.

Marty

I reckon the world will end before my poor habits kill me. So I am gonna have fun while I am here. There are too many people on this planet anyway. And medical advances are just adding to the problem. People in the dark ages died at 25 for a reason. So the place didn't get over crowded like now. Enjoy life, do things you enjoy and die happy! Whether at 99 or 19.

I used to have a similar attitude, then I had kids... boy! did that change my attitude. Bought a bike and ride at least 5 time a week, just so I can watch them grow old. (Better not get run over )

Well done all, keep it up!!

Hillsjeep,

I have two kids. And actually I pity them for the world we are leaving behind for them. Don't get me wrong. I love my kids with all my heart!!! But they will carry on one day without me here. As we all have without the ones we love after they have gone. Sorry I am not saying not to do what makes you happy, just the opposite actually. I have always lived my life for me. What makes me happy. My kids do indeed make me happy, that's why I had them and I enjoy watching them grow with great pleasure.

One day I will be on my death bed wishing I did this ot did that. But I want to make sure I do as much as I can before that time. Who knows it might be tonight or it may be 60 years from now.
