Shipping for my Hanson rocker guards only cost $80, and that included the $50 delivery fee from Melbourne to the Gold Coast...

Helps to know people in the know

They were put in the back of an F truck being shipped to Australia from California...Love it!

HHHMMmmm...I've shipped several things in here way over $1000 in both price and/or shipping of easily comparable size (including 4 wheels) before the FTA and always had to pay all the bullshirt stuff like GST and crapola like that.

Since the FTA I've imported several things way over $1000 in both price and/or shipping costs (including a rear bar from Oklahoma) and nothing extra tacked on at the gov't end. I'll draw my own conclusions...

Bert - shop around. You'll get a better price on both the bar and delivery. Just google the part number to find dealers and get some quotes.

Let me know how you go, I'll be ordering one in about 3 months.

alot of the time if you import stuff on a one off basis the customs guys let it go through unless you are the unlucky person they do a random check on then yes you'll pay all the bullshit but the bulkyer the item there more likly to check as i said before al my items were under $1000 aus but my mate imports race parts & he has to get them (company overseas) to gift wrap to avoid taxes & all the other expenses

Hey guys, thanks for all the advice! I've been hunting around quite a bit looking for the best price... quadratec.com will match any price and they confirmed with me that they will match the price on the autotrucktoys.com website. Plus with quadratec shipping will only be $198.00USD! should be under $1000 now! SWWWWEEEEEET!!! I'll keep you all posted...
