3 1/2" BSS is the recommended wheels for 12.5 wide tyres. I am trialing 2 different sets of wheels & tyres ATM to see what is best for me. 33x12.5R15 on 15x8 MT Classics with 3 1/2"BSS. Fit very well but sit outside 6" flairs. 35x12.5R15 on 15x8 Dynamic steelies 4.0 BSS. Fit under the flairs better but just touch the Rancho lower control arms at full lot. Not enough to feel, but enough to rub the paint off. I have a 5sp manual & 4.56 gears. It performs better on 33`s. Another good combo would be 285/75R16 on 16x8 rims with 4" BSS & 6" flairs. Tall enough, but not as wide as a 12.5
