Default Doesn't anyone buy XJs anymore?

I see a few XJs languishing in the classifieds, doesn't anymore buy them anymore?

I'm about to move on our 01 XJ. Its got a few mods and I'm sure that'd appeal to someone buying privately but if they're not selling, I'm tempted to trade it at the dealer ...

I think the dropping price of other newer 4WDs would really be weighing in on the prices that people are willing to pay for a XJ. When you can get a GU Patrol / NL Pajero / Prado for ~$10k a XJ at $6-8K is not that attactive to most people given their reputation.

You're probably right; I suppose only someone who is after Jeeps would want one.

People are still buying them as we have some new members who have recently purchased an Xj.
I go past a car yard on the way to work that has a 95 sport (same as mine) with 220k on the clock (more than mine) and they, depending on the day want either $7990 or $9990 for it!!!!
I seriously doubt that they will get it but who knows?????

same with all 4wds, look at the new vehicle sales figures. Rav4's CRV's and Territorys dominate. The only 4wd that sells in any volume is Prado. As far as our beloved Jeeps well it is all Wrangler
