The drain filler plug tool is genius. Hew bits that size are hard to find and exe!
I was just using my sauce bottle to top up my diff oil today.
Not really dodgy but better than trying to bend a funnel 90 degrees and snapping part of it off inside the diff like my neighbour did a few weeks ago. He'd already scoffed at my sauce bottle idea. Haha!
Your ramp is not a good idea. Those concrete blocks have a bad habit of breaking. Best use wood blocks.
I have used fence wire strainers to lift an engine out many times.
Every one has probably put a screw driver through the side of an oil filter to unscrew it.
Soap is great for sealing a petrol leak until you can fix it properly. I have knocked a wedge of soap in a 1" diameter hole in a petrol tank, worked a treat for a couple of weeks.
Farm fencing wire is good as a tow rope.

I no longer question authority, I annoy authority. More effect, less effort.
Used some fence straining wire to replace the clutch cable on my Torana and it lasted almost 6 months..... bloody cheap fix!
Also being an apprentice at the time and my 265/50/15 tyres on my XB GS Falcon (should'a kept it) got a puncture so I "plugged" the hole with a screw, then a bolt, then a bigger bolt etc and it lasted 3 months untill I could afford a new tyre....

I prefer 'special tools', my G60 Patrol once got a hole smashed in the battery, so I bogged a stick in the hole to get back from the bush, battery lasted another 6 months.

I coat hangered my panhard rod last weekend resulting front axle being pushed over to the right by 150mm & not being able to turn to the right, could only turn left.
so with a couple of snatch blocks, a winch & 30m of extention line we pulled it back into shape, at least good enough to get me home over 100k's away
We positioned the jeep between 2 big trees on the side of a steep hill, connected a tree trunk protector & snatch block to both trees, ran the winch rope from the front of the JK to the snatch block on the 1st tree, then down under the jeep to the snatch block on the 2nd tree, then back under the jeep to the front of the front axle housing, up to the bent panhard, tied off the winch rope to the panhard & winched the rope in until the panhard had straightend out enough to position the front axle back in its original position to give me steering again, all this was done in the dark & rain around midnight, amazing what you can do with a winch, a bit of cunning & great mates to help out

had the Bakelite part of a set of points that works on the dizzy cam break off in the middle of no where, cut a piece of wood off a paint scraper and whittled it with back of hacksaw blade to jam in points frame, a smidge of grease of a ball joint and got me 250ks to where I got new points. pinged like mad but got there.
