I find using a good quality lug and a good crimper works extremely well, I will still solder it afterwards depending on it's intended use, I don't like larger cables being just soldered as there can be mechanical strength issues which will then lead to electrical issues due to a bad connection.

Do you have a pic of your relocated battery?

Here is some pics JJ. It is hard to see but I have shifted it about 2" so that I can fit a larger than normal aux.

Well after a day of being outside in the sun (what little of it there was in bris) the evidence of the rush job I did on the head liner is quite apparent...I'll have to re-do it properly eventually, but it'll do for now. For the questions asked, easy to get out: relatively, basically remove all the trim pieces, roof console, sun visors and anything else in the way. How many cans of adhesive I used: three and a bit, but I didn't have the best technique, wasted quite a bit of it.

It's more that I've stretched the material too much in places so it's starting to pull away
