they are the pics wolfe, havnt got them cut yet, will be cut in about 2 weeks. inner ring will be 5mm steel, outter will be 5mm allum, you will need to weld the 24 odd nuts to the back of the inner ring, then weld the inner ring to your current steel wheel and ensure a good weld for keeping the air in. you will also need bolts which are at least 20mm long, yes i am making these bastards big and beefy! from beadlocks i have run in the past, these that im doing should solve a lot of the problems i have previously encountered with outher locks.

The holes on the outer could be counter sunk also, and you could run allen keyed heads to recess in the heads flush with the ring also, hense why the outer ring will be as heavy duty as i am making it. i am working on a theory with bolts and nuts, should come in as a sub $500 solution using stock steel rims.

The notch out of the inner circle is designed so you can run a longer than standard air filler tube also. and with the centre hole being as small as it is, will allow for easy access to the wheel studs, but will stop those unwanted rocks getting in to the hubs. ie more protection.

ps wolfe, they are based around these.......

Personlly i had a problem with captured (welded) nuts as they didn;t give the bolt any chance to flex.

I had a set of beadlocks early on that would just break bolts becuase there was no room for flex, maybe it wsa also because the outer ring was to thin and would flex as well.

Just something to keep in mind

yeah the loose nute situation makes it a pain in the arse to change rubber. the reason I'm running so many bolts also is to help with the snapping issues.
