Default My New 3.5" XJ Lift

Here are some pics of my recent 3.5" lift done by the good fellas at Suburban.

I also have a few questions for all you jeepers ..

1. I was told I there is no recovery point on my car in its current state ? can anyone help with is ? do really need to rid the nudge bar ?

2. Any good recommedations on the JBitz throttle body spacer ? is it worth the $100 ?

here are some more pics and in its OLD form http://www.oztrex.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=68#68

Cheers !

PS: Suburban did a great job ! I am very happy with the service and product.

Dood looks da bomb! Dont spend the money of the TPS, shell out on rock rails first, last think you need is to start wheeling it hard and to crush your sills in.

Also get a grinder out with a cutting blade and remove the part of the body shown in the attached pic, will give yuo a lot more room in that front wheel well when you have your swaybar disconnected.

Recovery points, yes they are right, and you should look at something both front and rear.

Look awesome dude, what size tyres you running?

Hey JB what do you recommend for front recovery ie. hooks attached where, I heard the bull bar may not be the best option?

There is a plate I think from memory on the left hand side, its a double plate bumper mount, not a bad spot for a location.

Bull bars are a good option providing the recovery mounts are intergrated into the bar, like a light weight ECB bar would not be recommended in my mind, yet a Warn or ARB bar are strong units, with recovery points built in.

For my money I dont like bolt on hooks with the XJ!
