I'm ok with my separation, I walked away with 50k and the xj. it all went though in 18months. I was fortunate that I have been able to buy a block for 7k and because I got work after 18months relying on centrelink I have had a shed erected. I am a bit over not having a partner I sorta keep to myself a lot so get a bit lonely as I don't really have too many friends. I'm not real good at making friends hence when the wife shot through I was left to spend all day on my own. I even worked alone as a contract gardener.

regards a

Finished the retaining wall concrete for my pit on the weekend. I have also levelled up with sand and laid the plastic and mesh for my slab. Next weekend should be pouring the concrete slab for the pit side of the shed. Gotta get in before mid April or I will miss my opportunity and be forced to wait until November. Damn frosts are so close its not funny and I mean mega frosts; frozen ground 120-150mm below the surface. Could be worse Russia apparently freezes 3m below the surface.

Regards A

Thumbs down No KJ Jeep parts form Qld again :(

FFS where are my parts...?
Bought the KJ 2.5 weeks ago in Brisbane and head it inspected by a well known forum member. A few points where made what needed replacing and a list established. When ask if he could fix it on the spot I was told he needed 3-4 days to get the parts in which was too long for me to wait around in Brisbane. I ask him to call ahead to ATV in Sydney to save some time and get the parts organized and so ATV knows whats going on. I was promised that he would speak to Frank because he speaks to thim a dozen times a day so no worries.
Arrive at ATV the next Monday and guess what? They never received a phone call and therefore did not know what's going on. So i left the list with Frank and since then he is trying to get hold of the Brisbane guy. Now 2.5 weeks later still no parts or only part of it and no indication that something is missing from the parts. Now a steering rack ball end can not be bought new and hasn't arrived. What...?...we found that one out just now that there is no new part available? Seriously when did the guy in Brisbane started to work on Jeeps? Oh i forgot I am not driving a new JK......ffs good help is hard to get. I know where to go next time that's for sure and whom i will recommend in here....now i have to spend more cash because some ppl are not worth their words or promises.
Rant end......

I just feel sorry for Frank from ATV as he is trying his best but he is let down as well so it does make him look a tad unprofessional (but he is a really good guy)
To make matters worse, I have another car which needs urgently repairs but i can't hand the car over till the KJ is on the road and with every day the other car is in a worst condition.

Even our site owner got stung !
Sounds like there are a few we dont want.
Gives the good guys a bad name.
I believe in name & shame!
If I stuff up, sure give me a chance to fix it but if I dont then tell all.
