Grant, hows the glass storage unit going? Thinking of making my own set and was wondering if you had any words of wisdom and comments on it?

It is at my mates at the moment being re done as a mould once mould is done then he will start making mine and he will be doing it in Jeep grey gelcoat to match the interior carpet. that way everything will blend in

Any updates to this? I may be interested in getting one over to the States...

I've used MDF a great deal for rugged creations, but always encapsulate it with epoxy resin to seal against moisture. Course, I haven't been driving in the Outback, either.....
