Default Drill Press

Just looking at the $200 drill press advertised by Repco......Anyone familiar with the "Polar" brand? or better yet familiar with this drill....
Basically I don't have a lot of coin to spend on a drill, but would like a nice floor standing unit......

Ideas? Thoughts? or Suggestions?

Wooders, sorry mate can't say I heard of this brand. I was looking at a drill press a few week ago ranging in price from $150 to $200 for a floor standing model. The thing I noticed was the different speeds. A good drill should be multi speed. Most of the cheaper models only have 3 - 5 speed. One with 10 speeds plus is what you need for all jobs. I will see if I can find the web site for you.

Hey Dave.

Speak to Mark at Super Savers. He's a customer of mine in Melbourne and sells all that stuff. He should be able to do better for you on that and I'll sort out the freight for you if need be.

You can contact him on 0413 433 488. Hope that helps out.

Daniel.

I was looking at the Super Cheap ones too, warranty and cheap, if it breaks take it back and get a new one Kinda like the quality bunnings GMC gear, cheap but disposable which is both good in my books.
