Default made a tube front bar for my GQ

I know its not a jeep, but well here she is on day one from the shop

I purchased a body lift from cheezy last week and fitted it on saturday

then came the bull bar, we (my brother and I) started with a cardboard cut out of a plan i liked....cheezy again. and firstly we made the support brackets

then they were joined and braced

then we bent the flat steel into shape and fastened it... lucky he can weld.. I'm bloody hopeless

a couple of pieces of pipe on the sides and some checker plate on top and we're almost done

a quick coat of kill rust to stop the dreaded cancer

and back on the truck... Oh yeah I wired up some "night stalkers" as well....

making a hoop to go over the lights next week... stay tuned

Just a bit worried how the pipe ends stick out so far and on that angle? Very easy to get it hooked like that while backing out.

I was worried too... we cut them on an angle back towards the body so they wont get hooked up... They actually stick out less than the ones cheezy racing make. It was a consideration.
