Default TJOC...ride the fatman and pieman weekend!!!

Tjoc, Well it must be my turn for a trip....NOVEMBER 3,4,5 (LONG WEEKEND)

sat 3rd travel from Launceston to arthur river and down the great explorer to the pieman , ride the fatman across the pieman river and then travel onto granvile harbour and camp beside the beach or for those that would prefer cabin style accomodation that can be organized as well , cabins about 30min away from granvile harbour so camping would be prefered, but let me know either way so i can book early to save dissapointment.

sun 4th travel the track from granvile harbour through to the mouth of the pieman river and return to camp, trip will be a combination of sand dunes rocks and buttongrass plains, and by november should still be challenging but not damaging

mon 5th travel back home via spray tunnel at zeehan and thru cradle mountian stopping at moeina for lunch and then home

This Trip will be very scenic and lots to fit into a long weekend , i will give details to Danny for the newsletter for those members that dont frequent this forum , for those that do please advise if you can make it

p.s guaranteed not to get lost ... haha Hey Brian!!

Well Bud i am not a parent , so hard for me to give advise , but when i do become a parent , i personally would take my child at any age , and if camping is a problem there is always the cabins 30min away and most likely some of us will stay there the 2 nights, "MAYBE SOME PARENTS OUT THERE AND READING THIS CAN GIVE SOME ADVISE' ..... anybody !!!!
