Default TJOC Lunch At The Lake Short Trip Report

A great day was had by all who came along. Left Deloraine about 10.15 and headed up into the tiers for the day. We were troubled my a couple of 'mobile chicanes' on the way up, but got by them eventually.
Dined in style at the Great Lake Pub where we were joined by Jonesy and his better? half who came for a run from Hobart to say gooday. It was great he could come and meet some of the crew. We are looking at having a north/south get together in the near future maybe at Lake Leake. Will keep you posted.
Then we went off to Waddamana for a tour of the historic power station there before a short 4wd trip fossicing for fossils of which we found an abundance. (No not Jim, Brian and I. We aren't quite fossils yet. The real rock type things).
We came home 300+ kilometres and 3 inches of dust later via Woods Lake and the Poatina highway.
Had a ball.
