Voice recognition Navigation
I have a 2014 (early model built March 2014) Jeep Cherokee KL Limited that from new the Voice recognition on Navigation has not worked. Get error messages from No navigation data to not available in this country. Everything works manually and even the POI works with voice and will guide to the destination.
The dealer tried to fix it for about 2 years and then came back saying it is not a feature of my model even though it is in the manual and on the advertising material. I cannot understand how everything works with voice except for finding a destination.
Have been trying to find another Jeep of the same model but with no luck.
Has anyone got one with the same problem or one that works?
Boboon, I've posted your question on another KL only forum so hopefully someone in Aust with a '14 on that forum will confirm or otherwise what your dealership is telling you. I'll post again when someone responds.
VR for navigation is only available in MY15+ models of both the KL Cherokee and the WK2 Grand Cherokee. It is not available in MY14 models. It works perfectly well in my MY15 Limited KL but not in our MY14 Grand Cherokee.
wtf hey whats the point of paying for the half navigation option when ya have vr installed and nav but not vr on the nav. Selling point i spose or upgrade. do you know if you can get an upgrade for the 2014 to work? is it possible?

Not that I'm aware of. I believe there was a change of head unit in the 15+'s
