Just did a day trip that involved about 250km of 100-110kmh highway driving. Checked at the end of the110kmh zone north of Brisbane on the way south and had averaged 10.5l/100km. By the time I reached the southern suburbs in the 100kmh zone it had dropped to 10.1 average for the trip.

Obviously the difference between 100kmh and 110kmh (both on cruise control) is large.

JeanLuke ,what are you checking your economy with? The over head in my jeep is way optimistic,,,i can get 6.8/100 on it driving nice at or a bit under 100kph, but the fuel docket and odometer will say more like 8.5 to 9+. Any way to tune the over head??

The overhead display. I am not aware of any way to adjust or tune it.

Yes. They match the numbers on the injectors and the leakoff test is okay.

I'm not sure if I have a problem or not. At this stage I am looking for comparative consumption. It's looking like mine is normal (-ish) except for the thermostat. (New one on order.)
