you buggy is good workmanship ruff, and from what sam showed me on the ramp i am very impressed but the budget element of the rover control arms with bushes, i never thought they would perferm as well and on a good budget like they do.
Something to look at for anyone who is building up a buggy with long control arms!
and to pete, are these people who are committed to driving crazy bastards like the one that runs a jeep website?
Thanks Jimmy but it realy was just a slap together job. It was built by 2 guys in a total of 9 days from start to finish. It was then cleaned up again over a few days by myself after my Forward Endo at Battle Of the Codes. Its also had a few sets of panels in its short time in competition. Its very hard to be at the pointy end without damaging panels and Scratching paint. This is why we dont bother with Powdercoating or Annodising. Once something is Powdercoated or plated you cant just cut it off and modify it if it doesnt work.
We have just spent the last 2 weeks building our latest All terrain Vehicle. A Defender 110 with a mid mounted 3.9 disco motor and auto and a few more little mods. It leaves for TTC tomorrow as long as the paint is dry
