Im in south oz,the reason it took so long is that i have a stuffed back and right arm from a work injury,can only work for a couple of hours then suffer for a couple of days, undid the mount to get a bit more clearance. should be able to pick up a sender at the wreckers tomorrow if not will give u a shout, my parts disc shows the same part no for 4.0 2.5 and diesel for the sender. just having a look at autospark for brush holders and still waiting on my other leccy will let him know they are used in ford cheers Del

Fixed my power windows, bad connection down in the kick panel. All good now!

Battery died, went to Kmart armed with the tape measure, found that an exide x56d fitted nicely, 550cca, 105rc, much better!

Now just to find out where the water in the footwell is coming from

put my drawers back in, cleaned the mud from inside (its only been there since january) adjusted the panard rod and steering to get the steering wheel straight again.

Drove her back from 3 awesome days at Janowen Hills. The little XJ twisted and flexed her way up rutted tracks that had fat Cruisers and Patrols waving wheels in the air and reaching for their Diff Lock buttons.

Not today but over the last couple of weeks been pulling my Xj apart getting her ready for her last rebuild she has 456000km's and has been my club car for the last 3 years now it going to be my daily drive and touring car
