I don't get the smell, which is def carbon monoxide, with the air con on. Had the exhaust checked yesterday, nothing was found to be wrong other then a small hole drilled into the muffler for drainage. I got them to weld it up and for whatever reason I haven't had the smell since and the exhaust is quieter. Tailgate seal maybe a little ify though.
Might be that without your cabin fan on the air is being drawn backwards through the fan inlet from your tailgate seal (assuming no windows open)?
put new pads in the front today. they were pretty sad... the rears are next becuase as i pushed the piston back into the caliper, it pushed a heap of fluid from the rear wheel. i already knew it had popped the rear cylinder tho, so its nothing new.
Pitman arm tierod arrived today as did my sway bar D bushes and lower link ones. Getting the mech to do the tierod as I don't have a suitable puller.
Going to do the D bushes Sunday arvo.
Then I need to figure out if I need new crush sleeves for the links. Mine have a lot of play in them(on the inside) and I have no idea if that is right/good/bad or neither.
