Default New Jeep Owner - Perth

Hello all, I've just bought a 2007 Wrangler and would like to meet with other Jeep owners in Perth. I have previously owned a 1974 CJ6 Scrambler and a CJ7 Renegade (many moons ago). I have tried to get in touch with JOCWA, via their website and Facebook page, does anyone know if they are still active???

Cheers,

Lee

Hi Lee, my wife and I have also just bought a Jeep and would like to meet fellow Jeepers in Perth. We also have a Jeep Wrangler 2dr.
Let us know if you still wanna talk Jeep.

Glynn

Hi Lee ( and Glynn ),
Welcome to both of you.
I don't know what has happened to JOCWA in recent years. They still exist, I think, a bit like a phantom. I don't know anyone who bothers with them anymore.
I kind of connect with the Jeep community by general casual contacts or Facebook. (My wifes, I don't use it)
Anyhow, if you see me around feel free to stop for a chat. I'm currently half way through chemo but I still get out when I can.
By Spring I'll be active again just like the Blowflies.

Hey Wazza, thanks for the reply. My dad went through Chemo and I know it can be a bit tough. Since his chemo he has visited us 4 times now in Oz.
well we live in Baldivis, so when you are up for it and are feeling fit enough. just let us know and we can all go on a little trip on a beach run or something.
Good luck mate.

We have a very active Jeep community in Perth but I don't know what's happening with JOCWA.
Most catch-ups are organised through facebook lately - 'Perth Jeep Community' seems to be the most active but there are plenty of other groups too.
There seems to be trips every week to the usual local places - Powerlines, Lancelin, Two Rocks/Wilbinga, or Harvey area for the more adventurous.
