Default Brake lights staying on

Hi all bit strange but got up this morning and the brake lights on the jk are all on anyone had this problem or have any sugestions as to what it might be

I tried search and didn't find anything

Thank's for the ideas John I disconected the battery for about 20 mins and just hooked it back up and there off must be a jeep thing or maybee a jk thing

Your computer had a dream last night and it woke up screaming, the BAS/TC/ABS side of the black box thought it was passenger screams and braked. All normal nothing to worry about

If it does it next time have a play with the brake pedal switch, but by it going off when u disconnected the battery sounds like a sticky relay, give it a few taps next time.

Did have a play with the switch and it didn't change

My park lights did the same thing, couldnt turn them off unless I used the ignition.
Went to the dealer and after several visits we realised it was a volt sensative issue.
My battery was dying and would not hold a charge overnight.
As the volts dropped strange things would happen like the radio losing the time, Lights turning on, EMS light trigerring etc...,
Replaced the battery and everything was ok.
Bit of a worry, I now do not trvel without a dual battery set up.
Your problem may or may not be similar but thought id let you know.
