At least your getting some form of communication, I don’t hear anything unless I call the dealer and they have no idea. I presume this is because you have had some correspondence with FCA? Thanks for sharing anyway!!

Agreed. I can't even get FCA to acknowledge receiving emails let alone responding.
I want to swap my JK for a JL when they are released but starting to wonder if it is worth the risk.

This is the company that makes the "Genuine part" https://www.bestbars.co.nz/product/j...rokee-wk-2011/ . I wonder why Jeep can't/won't supply them?

I had a huge dummy spit because I kept getting mucked around when I told FCA that I didn’t receive the recall notice. I threatened to go to the media (I have many contacts there) because lives were being endangered due to the lack of process in sending out recalls. As a result I get email updates from FCA and phones calls.... Dealer is useless.

Still cannot tow though!

Yeah this is the old Genuine one, would be interested if there is a way to deal direct with them and also why they stopped using the, as it was a good bar. Apparently they are hard to get locally now as the available stock has been taken, not surprisingly

FCA now tell me the fix kit is being sent out to dealers this week. I’ve already booked mine in to be done in a couple of weeks at the Artarmon Jeep dealer in Sydney. In case anyone is interested in getting theirs done soon, the main dealership in Sydney city has given up the licence to sell Jeeps as of the 30th of June I’m told. Came as a complete surprise to me but FCA are negotiating to reopen another franchise to replace it soon.
