Default No rear bumper tidy up.

So I'm gonna run the EVO MFG fascia and D ring setup and I removed my rear bumper this eve (JKUR). I've got the left and right stop tail lights and the licence plate lights. I'm gonna re wire the licence plate lights elsewhere (wherever I end up mounting the plate).

Can I just cut off the tail stop lights???

Do you mean the rear fog lights, that were in the bumper? If so, I don't see why not. Just tape them up carefully afterwards.

Pretty sure the rear fogs just unplug....no need to cut anything.

Don't forget to buy a couple of cheap trailer reflectors for the back of your JK someplace...like on the EVO facia. The factory rear reflectors are in the fog lights - you open yourself up to a defect notice if you have no rear reflectors.

Good point on the reflectors. And x 2 on the fog lights unplugging.

Just twist the plugs on the rear fog lights and they will come away from the bumper. Tape them up and cable tie them to behind the metal bar.

Don't go cutting them as you might want to go back to the OEM bumper one day.

Another way to get around the reflectors is to buy some plug and play LED tail lights off eBay as they come with reflectors built in. You can get them pretty cheap these days and they look better than the OEM ones.

lol...thats a matter of opinion.....I've yet to see any of them that I'd prefer over the stockers.

Like anything, it depends on individual tastes. There is nothing wrong with the OEM ones.
