When removing sensors for cleaning / replacement
Is it advisable to always disconnect negative battery terminal before commencing above or when any work that involves unplugging electrical links 'just in case' there is some feed back to the TIPM ?
Have changed both MAF & MAP sensors without doing so before, but will be checking out MAP sensor in a month or two when it gets warmer (England).
Just found out a JK owner who's TIPM 'went faulty' recently and had to replace so I'm being a little cautious / paranoid currently
