Got mine back 2 1/2 hours start to finish

Apparently there are two versions of the recall

Mine being a Mk1 2007 build, got clock spring, drivers air bag and new shroud on steering column
Must have been some modifying to do, as lots of flakes of plastic decorating the interior !

What will be the warranty period on this ?

I KNEW IT!! Cheeky buggers... At least the manufacturer I was working for told their customers the truth.

Mine's a 2008 model so I assume it'll need the same, a clock spring, airbag and shroud?

I have been told 2 different things about the passenger airbag, Rosebery said they inspected it and it needed replacing and the guy from SVM says he hasn't heard anything about the passenger airbag at all. I'm already beginning to not trust him, I don't get a positive feeling when I speak to him. The problem with most service advisers is its all "slight of hand"

So can anyone tell me what the passenger airbag recall is? Is it the S40? Will mine need it? I just want to know if a crash gets through my steel bar and sets them off it's bot going to rip my face off!

That's interesting: I have a 2010 JKU but didn't receive any of the recall letters.

S40 was my 2013's clockspring recall with new shroud. No airbag tie in.

Well mine was done, appears to be no issues. Took them about two hours.

The dealer was even good enough to detail my Wrangler, inside and out, and threw in a Jeep stubbie holder.

For a dealership, I was impressed.
