Stacker

Just thought that I would see if anyone has had the same problem as me. Looked but havent found anything that has helped me.

Ok. I just purchased a second hand CD Stacker without a cartridge. The cartridge that I ordered from the states has turned up (we checked serial numbers to make sure they were compatible). So I try loading it up and all it does is click at me... Its got power cause it comes to life. The cd sleeve thing looks like it gets caught on something and wont get sucked in to where the CD is meant to go to get played. It only moves a few mm before it goes about in to it original position after a few seconds.

Does this have anything to do with the cable behind the head unit in the dash?

Or have I gotten myself a dead stacker?

sounds like faulty load motor ,common fault on stackers.
Stackers have definate limited life.
