Default Set up for light 4w driving

Hi all,

I am looking to set up my GC for light 4w driving mainly on the beach. This is my plan.

- chemical rust proofing
- Murchison lift kit
- Uneek skid plate and Mopar axle protector
- Uneek tow hooks

Interested in your thoughts and feedback. Cheers

really if it's just the beach underbody protection not needed apart from a skid plate. Even a lift would be debatable for light beach work.

chermical rustproofing yer just wash the underbody with a hose when you get home

Don't know about that. Have done some beach 4w driving and it was a struggle in the deeply rutted stuff. Guys that had a higher clearance just breezed through. I should clarify I mean light 4w driving and beach driving not light beach work.

Okay interesting. I’ve had a few people tell me it is a must especially if doing mostly beach work.

snake oil . it's only a must if you don't care for your car properly after being on the beach

Tismarg is right IMO, if you get under the car and give it a good wash, everything should be fine.
A lot of people get under body sprays applied, after the corrosive element, is already there.
If you want to apply any under body application, make sure you personally have cleaned the under body and any channels that may be already full of sand are cleaned out thoroughly.
