Your original output of 175.1 Hp (130.5 Kw) is in line with what mine was prior to my first tune. Your final figure is 198.1 Hp (147 Kw) whereas mine was 152.7 Kw.
Mine was done at Horsepower Factory in Dandenong Melbourne. Not sure if Roo Systems use a generic tune or not? I do know that mine was done to suit my engine, not generic.

I then had a custom exhaust system fitted, deleted the DPF and did a couple of other minor things, resulting in a final output figure of 175.5 Kw.

My economy improved, both towing and not towing. The biggest improvement was the torque. It went from the standard 570Nm to 724Nm.

Cheers, Craig
Well aware that the figures are "at the wheels" Craig. Your comments back up what I was saying about my results being below par on what they should be. I spoke to the tech who did the job a few days after, he was pretty defensive about it. It's been 3 months now so I will contact him again and see what he has to say about it. Cheers

As Troutman mentioned.........it can be detected, however they would have to be looking for it. It can also be overwritten with a software update in some cases, not all.

Horsepower Factory have my original and my current tune on file, so I can have it returned to normal at any time.......or have it re-installed should it get wiped.
I haven't had to have any warranty work done that involves tapping into the ECU, but if I did, I would probably have the original tune put back.

After 128,000 Klm's I have never had the tune wiped. Very happy with the extra power, torque & economy.

Cheers, Craig

Keep in mind that its only 5.7 Kw difference to my first tune, which could even be a result of the two different dyno machines.

Just sayin.......

When I was at Roo Systems to pick up the car they had it up on the Dyno, which was good to see as they were making adjustments to the tune and re running on the Dyno a few times after making changes.

Still on the first tank so unsure Economy wise as I’m still getting use to the tune as it drives differently and I haven’t been on a highway run yet.

Stay tuned.

I wonder if they did a throttle remap as well.
HPF did a 20% throttle remap which changes the feel of the accelerator pedal.

Cheers, Craig
