Default Big Bore Throttle Bodies

On Saturday I had a Suburban exchange bored T/B fitted to the Jeep.It was an instant improvement for low to mid range acceleration.I find I'm not using as much throttle to get it up to speed or keeping it there and working on that theory it should be using less fuel, these are currently under test on 5 different Jeeps all used under different conditions.

In offroad suituations, spent the w/e down at Menai trail testing it,has worked great I thought it might make it a bit touchy in low range(especially with the Terra Low) but it in fact made it easier to control.Either that or I just had one of those days where it all goes to plan.. :D

Any way I'll keep you all informed of my observations as I'll be putting it through everything from daily driving to comps over the next month.. so far it's got the big :D from me..

I have thought of doing this mod but the BIG question is - will it be OK running LPG???
Will the testing have a dual fuel capability??
Just asking.... ;)

It is very easy to bore your own with basic tools. I did a write up on it and a lot of people in the US have done it as well from those insturctions and none have had any problems and love the improvement.
As for running on gas, I can not see how it could be a problem and I have my gas ticket to do conversions. Even did Tony's from USA4X4 a few years ago ( CJ7 Levi's edition ) as an electrician he was not confident he could do it himself.
Go to my site and the how to section for the information.

The T/B's will be available in the next few weeks on an exchange basis, making this a very easy bolt on Job.It makes it perfect for those, like myself, who can use a spanner and screw driver but little else... :D

You'll have to give Suburban 4Wd a call regarding the pricing as I have NFI.

OzJeeper I don't think we have any gas powered Jeeps up here to test on ...But as Gojeep has said I really can't see any reason for it not to work.
