JTO the ramp is not trying to simulate offroad conditions to test your cars performance. Its more like a measure of reach. Its great for a bit of fun in a situation like a jambo or Coffs. But the real use for them is to check clearances and a trucks "reach".
Also you do need a certain level of skill and good "spotting" to perform well the first time you do it.

i think it is a great idea to have a ramp there, that way you can teach all the non techy people why there jeep binds/bottoms out/rubs/dents shocks and so on. i get sick of seeing incorrectly setup rigs and you try to explain it to them and they look at you as if you are speaking another langauge.

please educate the masses
