Default XJ: SJCXJeep Build

Hey guys new to the Jeep platform but have been toying around with 4wds for many a year...

so here in alls it glory is a one owner 2000 XJ sport with just over 100.000 klicks in imaculate condition... have a few things in mind with it, really just want to improve on what Jeep did... make it a top prefomer off road and a great DD to get me to work and back each day and just enjoy the Jeep thing.... Its got all the XJ Sport stuff... very impressed with the power of the engine.

so here are some pics.... very stock just after I bought it..

Fitted this...to the airbox

Current pic of the front end with King springs ...

Did some bull bar modding, the IPFs are very large and block a fair bit of ram air to rad ???? so with some cutting and removing of the small middle tube and mounting the IPF's directly to the bar they now sit lower....better air flow to rad....

fromt this

to this

Ok some updates...
Last w/end I got my new 30/9/15's Bighorns installed..had these on my old hilux and they did a top job...great M/T for the price !!!! so got anothjer set for the XJ.

Cut hole in the bonnet and installed the air scoop...and painted it. will be putting in avent on the other side
Then did the flares in satin black for a bit of contrast...

Also I want to get rid of the big pelenuium chamber..black plastic box sitting on the intake and replace it with a simple hose to connect to my ram air pod...what the best solution... the intake is I believe 65mm wide in circumfrance any sugestions ???

some pics.. before/after shots of the paint flares.
