The big problem is of course that the older our Jeep’s get the less parts the stealerships actually stock.

I’m trying to work out why tyres, for many vehicles not just Jeep’s, are so expensive these days. I reckon we are being ripped off.

My opinion is it's freight (international).
I have noticed things on eBay now have ridiculous freight prices compared to pre-covid, freight was a third of what it is now.

Copied WH_5.7L and made a simple intake.
About 20cm of stainless 4" pipe, 4" silicone elbow cut down on the TB side and a rubber bung for the sensor.

Easy as! (and yeh my engine bay is filthy, I'll clean it one day ).

Was hoping for some mad sick intake sounds but the exhaust is louder anyway in normal driving.
Revving out sounds nice though, gets a nice growl above ~3500rpm.

I have noticed that too. Even contacting the sellers directly they tell me it has not been possible to sell on eBay unless it gets sent through their global shipping program!
No saving anymore trying to buy multiple different things from the same seller and getting combined shipping. Only multiples of the same item gets cheaper.
