Default TJ: AORC Jeep

Hey guys, been absent from the community for a while now due to VCE and some personal things going on. However lately I have been busy building my 98 TJ into an off road racing vehicle for the production 4wd class.
So far what has been completed is:
Roll cage
Seat mounts
Spare tire mount
Door skins
Rear lights
Helmet blower

Soon to be completed is:
Roof panel
Wiring
Harnesses
Intercom
Fox shocks

In the future we wish to:
Brace diffs
Rebuild motor
Respray

Will continue to upload pics as work progresses.

Fabraications did the cage. Fox remote res OEM replacement shocks on the way. Right now it has OME 2" lift springs and we will see how they go but well probably end up changing them. Due to the class there isn't much I can do to the suspension. Once I have some experience I plan to move into a faster class though.

looking good, she is starting to fall into place.
Ive been there & done the race circuit & unfortunately that money tree just dosnt seem to grow quick enough to throw all the good stuff on when you want.
what sort of racing ? winch, safari, OBC ect??
if your going to race it you probably wont want that heavy rear bar & wheel carrier, you want to sell it??
anyway good luck in the comps, & keep up the pic's.
cheers Piggy.

Aorc is the racing series I'm in. Its all high speed off road. Will probably never use 4low. However I am keeping it suitable for some 4wd comps as well. Yeah the rear bar has been taken off and everything in removing is for sale so send me a pm if interested in any of it. Will put up an add closer to the end of it.
Thanks.

Been a long time and not really much interesting to show but we have finished the list of things to do other than the shocks thanks to a mix up with the supplier the shocks were supposed to fit 3" of lift and I am running 2.5" and there is basically no up travel. trying to get it swapped from fox to kings to hopefully get the right length.
Anyway it is now just waiting an inspection and we will be off to our first race.
cheers.
