No i dont go wheeling in the rain, it destroys tracks and is irresponsible
I sold my roof as it lives in a garage and isnt used on road or for any other purpose but to beat the shit out of it so it served no purpose.

Are you suggesting Jeeps are a good road car that handle?

Yes, public roads are not a race track. As long as any vehicle is driven within it's and the drivers ability, what's the issue?

yeah, i must admit that you see a few wranglers cruising the coffee shops with 4 inch lifts, no roofs and occasionally no doors, 40" tyres, and they always sit in the vehicle trying to look cool, as they cruise slowly past posing for the crowd . there is that element without a doubt. i totally agree that quite a bit of this "doors off " on bitumen is purely for the pose value and to draw attention at the coffee shops.

Dont bother asking the Police about the door issue ... Timglobal has already made that point.

The Police issue tickets based on their understanding/interpretation of the rules ... some will see no problems with the doors off ( depending on your driving behaviour ) ... and others will go into panic mode about them being missing ... same as some posters on this forum.
