Default $$$ Quoted for new JK Wrangler 09

I have been quoted for a brand new JK Wrangler
2009 Unlimited CRD Automatic $41,900
with:
Renegade Pack $3000
Adventure Pack $2900
___________________
Total: $55,600

It seemed too high!
Fitting labour charges blah blah ^(*&~
GST + stamp duty + delivery charge blah blah !&()*~

Then, I asked to put 37 BFG KM2s on and asked the price to be $50,000 for everything.
Finally the price he came up with was $53,500 FULL STOP.

What do you guys think?

You might wanna think about putting on a lift and 4.56 rear end before the 37's.

Talk to me...
You can PM me if you like.
I will do base price for AJOR members.
As mentioned above. Dont even think of 37"s unless you lift it and do the gears as it will stress the driveline with stock gears.
Why do you want 37"s any way as they will be illegal very soon!

Do a search there's a thread : How much did you pay for your JK. Or something like that. It'll give you an idea of what others have paid.

But it does seem high to me

The rules may well be about to change for you lucky states who have been able to get away with these things for a while. I heard from someone in the industry that they are having trouble passing 35's thru the ncop's and they may not even be allowed with a cert either. Those of you are lucky enough to live in mod friendly states should cross your fingers as for us in less friendly ones it still could be a case of either way.
