You can do a hell of a lot in a stocker, not too sure how much panel damage you are willing to take, but as long as you're not climbing huge rock shelves you can get a fair way. I've seen Mr Badman and wooders get places in fairly stock vehicles that I would have not suspected were do-able. Guess its got a lot to do with the driver.
Back on topic, I would not expect chrysler to cover any damage done due to modifications, however normal claims should be covered where workmanship and faulty parts not due to modifications are concerned.

P34 "EVENT DATA RECORDER In the event of an accident, your vehicle is designed to record up to 5 seconds of specific vehicle data parameters (see the following list) in an event data recorder prior to the moment of airbag deployment, or near deployment, and up to a quarter of a second of high speed deceleration data during and/or after airbag deployment. EDR data are ONLY recorded if an airbag deploys, or nearly deploys, and are otherwise unavailable"

It then goes on for a few paragraphs in litigeous language about how Chrysler may deem to use this logged info at it's discretion for crash research, and also may release it to legal authorities upon presentation of appropriate supoenas, etc.

All depends on how you drive. What ever lift you put on at some stage it will be not enough. Some areas will not allow more than 33" tires on their property due to damage to there tracks.

I cannot think of many places in NZ you need larger tires other than crossing our mountain rivers in the wrong place.

It doesn't take much to repair the odd damaged panel. My insurance takes care of that.

Hmm.. Interesting comments since a larger tyre would be more likely to float over the surface than churn through it. I would imagine the stock little skinny wheels spinning their hearts out and sliding the vehicle all over the place (and off the track) would be more likely to cause more damage than a nice set of 35's or bigger
