if you don't want the headlights to come on when you open the doors, use the key in lock method instead of the central locking method. then use switch on door to open the rest of the doors. learnt this early on after i made lots of people in caravan parks unhappy every time i opened the door at night.

Couldn't find a better thread to post in and this is somewhat related... I was wondering if anyone has ideas on how to store the windows of a 4door JK when you are camping etc... I am planning a camping trip have now put the soft top on but am a little aprehensive about taking the top down while camping as I am not sure how to store the windows... If anyone has a way that they store the windows somewhere in the vehicle that would be awesome to hear about. Lately in SEQLD we have had a couple of large storms come out of no-where and I would hate to be on one side of moreton island and have the windows on the other and be caught in a storm... vehicle is only 3 weeks old. (P.S. I am ablsoutlely loooooving it!!!!) GO JEEP

CloverPatch style window roll?

Cheapest I found was MUCanvas.
Not as pretty as the other brands, but then much cheaper.

There are a couple of mfrs that make a "window roll" or tube, including Mopar themselves. I've also seen a PVC conduit cut to size, with windows rolled inside. Just make sure you put some towelling or felt between, to prevent scratching. I usually just leave my windows inside the tent when camping with the roof down.

If pretty is your thing the get the clover patch or similar window roll, if practical is your thing then get yourself some fleece or felt from a fabric shop. 4 pieces a little bigger than the rear window. Then sew or get someone to sew along the long edge.

Add an old belt to hold it in a roll and you can throw it under the rear seat when not in use.

I've been using mine for nearly two years now, it protects the windows from scratches . I think it was something like $30 of material.
