Default P0850 with rebuilt WA580/NAG1/722.6 transmission

Have been having a few dramas with the transmission after a rebuild.

Been in the shop for nearly 3 months now after first going in on the back of a flatbed.

Torque Converter was rebuilt by ANSU and new conductor plate, solenoids, valves and springs etc.

Told to pick it up as it was ready, drove to work and ding ding lights come on and on the back of the flatbed back to the shop. Error codes were P0741 and P0743

Told the box needs a rebuild.

Box is rebuilt and now they are getting an error of P0850. Told by the mechanic its the gear selector module needs to be replaced. Found one Radelaide and bought it took it down to the shop and after exchanging the units still had the same error.

Looked online at the error codes and finally found the Park Neutral Switch is actually on the Conductor plate. The new one put in. So pan dropped and new one put in, issue still there. Mechanic now saying its a wiring issue or the TCM.

At wits end with the whole thing. Any ideas?

Did you use a MOPAR or Mercedes conductor plate? There are some cheap ass Chinese ones out there that are a waste of money.

If the JK is anything like the Grand the shifter can cause problems with limp mode.

Hi Clarky,

Used a genuine MOPAR, then a genuine MB and then the original and each one came back with the same error.

Torque Converter Rebuilt.
Valve Body new springs and overlap valves and Conductor Plate.
New Internals Sprag Clutches etc

Before the Trans was dropped did not get the code.
