i think i broke my jeep today, engine light come on down the highway i hadnt driven very far from home, noticed the temp gauge was right up, there was smoke pooring out the exhaust, pulled over, switched it of let it cool down (as the anti boil collant was boiling), filled the over flow bottle up and it wouldnt start, it can be roll started but it blows lots of white smoke, but the smoke stops after a few minutes.
so i think it now need the heads done.

yes it the 2.5L VM Turbo diesel and its only just done 92000k.

think i might have to swap the plates/rego and dust off one of my other XJ's, see if i get away with it (they are all the same colour), till i can afford to fix it, or
off to the bank to get a loan?

Fitted my a spare wheel carrier today, pretty trouble free addition. Looks the goods and am appreciating the extra space as well.
