Thanks for the tip, I'll try Valvoline next. I'm in Europe, not sure if that's the same product?:
Valvoline SYNPOWER MST C4 5W30
I see this stuff is a bit more expensive than Castrol, but I guess it must be better.
Some other info:
Went to check the glow plugs using multimeter - only checked 2 because of the hard access, but one is completely shot (0.2 V), and one is half-good (7.5 V) - that is enough for me to replace all 5 for the peace of mind. (Just ordered 5 NGKs)
I also looked for signs if 4-5 injectors were dealt with. I don't see any cuts in the insulation between the engine and the car body. I've decided to test/recondition the injectors for the piece of mind, so I'll be removing the plastic wiper cowl. I'm planning on cutting the access hole myself to make sure it's done neatly and then probably taking the Jeep for injector repair.
I'm hesitating if I should remove the injectors myself (I have a slide hammer and a Mercedes CDI injector puller head), but I've read horror stories of how hard the injectors are stuck in the engine head.. Also, I see that even with the hole cut, it would be impossible to use the slide hammer on injector 5.
Anyone done the injector extraction themselves?
