do you know if he runs the stock diff ratio? and im hoping its not going to runaway on me down a steep hill... im assuming that it will still be quite slow and controlled but just that bit quicker? well thats what im hoping anyway

Yeah still stock 4.1 ratio and yes slower than non-Rubis!

okay well thats a relief... ive been doing some reading into jeeps h.d.c and most people say its great, but its nice to know that even on bigger tyres it will still have a decent amount of engine braking without having to turn to the brakes and a computer thank you for you time to help me out btw!

Sorry meant to say that, yep stock ratios and AEV 2.5in lift and flat flares.

okay cheers every bit of information it a help , now i know this is abit off toipc but.... im looking into 35s, i have a set of 17x8 steelies... would they be okay to mount 35s to?

Yeah I run 35's on my jku rubicon 3.8 manual and it's fine for most work and very usable still

Many 35s have a min rim width of 8.5" but will still fit on an 8" rim. So it will depend on the installer if they want to fit it to a non recommended rim size.
