I'd use most reputable brands from your local shop
So long as it doesn't come from Liquid Moly
Seen some horrible things happen in engines with that stuff

Ever since the dam oil leak from the valley has returned
The engine is covered in oil & I'm putting a litre every fortnight into her

What is more worrying is it's started to lose coolant now too
So I bit the bullet and ordered another seal kit with a new oil cooler this time

Know what I'll be doing the next coupla days
Drinking a lot
I have the exact same kit (minus cooler) sitting next to me right now, was loosing coolant (pooling in the valley) but since I purchased it a few years back the leak stopped

If I still need it I will find out soon when I'm between Birdsville and Mt Dare

Turns put the oil cooler is fine
The turbo post was leaking where it bolts to the block

Oh well, Live and Learn
But it was damn close to Loot and Burn
Better double check the threads in the holes
But right now it's beer o'clock

Well three full days and she's all back together
Even though I knew what I was doing this time it was still a PITA
Good to see the Provent doing its job
The ports are still oily but not clogged

The top of number one glow plug finally snapped off
And I don't feel like pulling the head off so it can stay that way
The wiring harness shroud around the turbo crumbled into little pieces
So I covered it with some split harness wrap and now it goes over the turbo

A fuel leak at the filter had me scratching my head late into the evening
Replaced both fuel lines, still leaking
Replaced both o'rings on the water sensor, still leaking
Turned out to be the tiny o'ring on the end of the bleed valve

Undoubtedly the best part was looking down at the work bench
and not seeing any leftover bolts
Got everything cleaned up just in time for the State of Origin decider
Shoulda stayed outside & kept drinking

Default Front Prop Shaft CV Circlip

Started getting a that vibration through the passenger side floor again
Removed the front prop shaft only to find the circlip had fallen off
Quick trip to the parts bin
You can clearly see the difference between the supplied circlip (top left)
And the ones from the kit we carry at work

ID 23mm by 1.2mm thick

Default Transmission Cooler Line Leak

Even though I recently rebuilt the transmission
The damn thing is still leaking oil
I identified the cooler line fittings as damp spots
Removed the fittings and o'rings
Once again stupid size o'rings
Didn't write down the size
If I remember correctly I went
down to the closest whole mm in ID
and increased half a mm in diameter

Still leaking transmission fluid somewhere
