Default Didn't pass the roadworthy - need advise

I have a few items to fix before it passes roadworthy

1) I'm told I need reverse lights - 26 years in WA and it's fine? Anyone know where to start here? I'm thinking a single light mounted on the towbar. (temporary until I do the restoration when I replace with TJ lights) Is there a switch or something that will need to be on the tranny? It's a T5.

2) Front signal/driving lenses are too faded. I have the square ones Hella E1-53254. Anyone have a clue where I could get a set (see photo)

3) lower bushes on front and rear suspension are shot. Does anyone have a part number or source (my service manual hasn't come in the mail yet)

Thanks for the help.

1. The stock reverse light was very similar to a trailer reverse light mounted to a bracket on top of the tail light

There is one on both sides

2. I have not sourced them myself but I have heard Mascot motors have some lens just not the bases

3. Call and of the jeep parts vendors on this site they can send you some, I personally use Wooders, Mascot motors and Hammonds

The reverse lights above appear to be still available in the hella catalogue ... but the old park/blinker seems to be superceded.

Might be some laying around on a dusty forgotten shelf at an auto-leccies or non bling auto accessory shop.

Your front lamps are both for the one side.
You can paint inside the lens with nail polish. Steel some off the missus.
I got new front indicators off Hammonds.
TJ tail lamps is an easy fix at the back.
Reverse swithches are normally in the trans shift cover. The wiring should all be in the harness.
Look for a three wire plug at the fire wall on the right of the engine. Orange red and black from memory.

From the local "truckline" automotive place i picked up a simple led setup to use as revere lights.....remember there just an indicator and do not need to illuminate much....its probably best that you don't have a spotty as a revere light.

Thanks for the reply's.

I've done heaps of calling around this morning. TJ tail lights are $90 used $117 ea new. Hammonds is getting in the front lens covers in a week or so but they are $97 ea and I'm not sure I want to keep them on in the long run (they do look a bit ugly). I suppose I could get them and sell them later.

I'm told (and I may have misunderstood) there is such a thing as a driving light that can be inserted into the headlights, therefore I could find a temp signal light to cover the holes in the mudguard until I can patch them and move the signal lights to where they are supposed to be, under the headlights. I will be stopping at Supercheap on the way home tonight.
