I would call the dealership up and ask about this recall and get them to confirm on their system with your VIN.
Rear main oil seal at the back of the engine. Its a pretty common problem with Wranglers.

Talked to the dealership about the oil pump drive gear and they were well aware of the problem, but apparently they are having difficulties getting the parts in to fix it. When they saught out the parts the jeeps going in to get checked.

Smile Got my Jeep back

Well Friday afternoon at 4pm I finally picked up my Jeep from the Dealership. After been at the Dealership since 7:30am Tuesday morning I was glad to finally have it back.

I wasn't to worried about not having the Jeep for the few days since I usually don't drive to work anyhow.

So what do I think after driving the Jeep home and taking it for a short drive on the weekend? It certainly seems to be running better after all the work they have done. I didn't get a chance to really take it for a nice long drive up to Central Coast or anything but yer I think its much better.
