WH 2010 Grand Cherokee Air Conditioning
Greetings, I am a newbie so hope I am in the correct Forum.
Unfortunately the Air Conditioning on our WH 2010 Grand Cherokee packed up and the dealer was asking $2,700 to resolve which we though was high and after getting another quote from an individual who lectures at TAFE, has full clean workshop, convinced us he knew everything about Jeep Airconditioning.
The quote was around the $900 mark so we accepted.
Downhill from there, with 4 returns due to failure and about failure 3 a new compressor was required as the original had seized up during failed attempt 2.
With the bill around $4,900 of which we paid $3,500 we decided that the chances of ever completing the task were slim and refused further payment along with legal advice that we obtained the repairer backed down and we are left with a Grand Cherokee that has a new compressor, dryer etc but no Air Conditioning.
We should have taken the dealers quote and had it fixed professionally.
So my dilemma is going back to the dealer or investigating through the Ausjeepoffroad community if there may be a member who is across the 2010 Jeep Airconditioning and is located in South Australia.
I know it is a longggggggg shot but I need to get it resolved.
Thank you for reading my A/C woes
