I would go back to the module & check the connections, unplug & plug in a few times. May be not making contact on a pin or two.
Worst case scenario the new FDCM is faulty see if they have another one & swap it out in the car park, only way to know.
Thanks heaps Clarky. Cant remember how many thanks that is now.
Unfortunately there is no warranty on electrical items from Poly 4x4. Once it leaves there, it is yours.
I will try the unplug & plug back in scenario over the next couple of days and see if that works.
As others have mentioned over & over again, CF should stand up and admit fault with the N23 recall.

Cheers, Craig

Maybe they should replace the actuator with a lever to select 4x4 low that should be hassle free...checked mine today and the dreaded message showed and no 4x4 low

Go back to the dealer that did the work & get them to check the codes, if you have C140F fault code they should advise you that according to Star Case Number: S1321000016 you need a new Transfer Case motor (actuator).
see post 141 about 8 pages back
ask them to contact Jeep on your behalf to see if they will cover the motor.
Wait patiently for a reply

After all this the problem will "in my opinion" be still there but at least you will have replaced the initial cause of the recall, the Transfer case motor

Hopefully Jeep will come up with a new update that will resolve the issue once & for all, just don't hold your breath

It would put Poly in a good light with the forum if they would.

Yeah, agree Clarky. I'll try cleaning / checking FDCM connections first. If that doesn't work, I'll go back to Poly 4x4 and see if they will let me try another module.
As for going back to my local Jeep service centre, complete waste of time. They are rude and abrupt and don't really want to know about it.
They told me that they needed my vehicle for a whole day to do the last re-flash. I told them that I am willing to wait while they did it.....which I did. Bugger me, it was done within the hour. They are full of BS.

Cheers, Craig

Another thought , if you put your old FDCM back in, do the unplug/re-plug thing & service 4wd goes away it confirms a faulty module.
